I keep telling Mycroft Not to phone me at this number!

He may not just do what Sherlock’s brother says, but the fanfic can be a lot of fun.

“Look, Sherlock, I need your help on this.”

Detective Inspector Greg Lestrade’s phone rings. He glances at the caller ID. “One second.”

“Look, I told you not to call me at this number.”

(pause)

“I know, but I can’t really talk right now. I’ve got someone with me.”

(pause)

“Yeah. He’s here,too.”

(pause)

“It’s about a case.”

(pause)

“Not that one.”

(pause)

“I haven’t forgotten. Look, I’ve got to get back to what I was doing. Someone’s waiting on me and this conversation interrupted us.”

(pause)

“I’ll try.”

(pause)

“I said I’ll try. Talk with you later.”

(pause)

“Right…me, too.”

Lestrade hangs up and says, “Sorry about that. As I was saying, Sherlock, I need your help. How about we step closer to the window? No particular reason. Just better light. Your brother? No idea. Haven’t seen in him in ages. Oh, look, there’s a CCTV camera. ”
